Below, you'll find essential information about receiving, sending, and managing packages at The Engine, including details about our mailroom, package notification system, and shipping procedures. This guide will help you navigate our mail services efficiently and understand the options available for residents.
All new residents of The Engine are automatically added to our Package Delivery Notification database. To receive an email that a package you ordered has arrived, be sure the following information in included on the shipping label:
Your first and last name
Your company’s name

Each team has a dedicated mail slot in the 3rd floor Mailroom (across from the elevators). Mail will be placed in your team's slot as it is received. No notification is sent for regular mail.
All packages that are not Temperature Sensitive or do not denote "LABS" on the shipping label will be placed in the main Mailroom on the 3rd floor. You will find your team's packages under the alphabetical section corresponding with the first letter of your company name. To avoid overcrowding of the mail room, please limit packages delivered to The Engine to work-related mail/packages only, and please pick up your packages promptly.
For teams that have space in our biology or chemistry laboratories, all Temperature Sensitive packages and packages with "LABS" denoted on the shipping label will be delivered to the Lab Mail Nook on your team's lab floor.
These nooks are located along the lab corridors on floors 2, 3, 4, and 5, adjacent to the unboxing counters.
If you find that your lab packages are not being delivered to your Lab Mail Nook even though "LABS" is denoted on your shipping label, please submit a Help Desk ticket or reach out to operations@engine.xyz.
All freight comes through the Loading Dock, which is located on the 1st floor, through the glass doors by the elevators and to the left. If you are having trouble accessing this space, come see us at the front desk.
Gas deliveries are brought to the Gas Room, located in the hallway to the Loading Dock.
Please Note: The Loading Dock is staffed 8am- 4pm Monday through Friday. If you expect to receive freight at a time the dock is unstaffed, someone from your team will need to be available to help the shipping company access the space.
The Engine will not sign for any deliveries and you must communicate with the vendor to ensure you will be present to receive freight.

The Engine provides an array of envelopes, small shipping boxes, shipping label envelopes, packaging tape, and a postal scale. These supplies are available in the 3rd floor mailroom.
We do not supply stamps or large sized boxes. You will need to provide these on your own.
