Before his current role, Francisco was Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance at Ikena Oncology, a clinical-stage public company developing novel therapies targeting key signaling pathways in cancer, where he played key roles in multiple financings and transactions, including Ikena’s initial public offering. Prior to Ikena, he held roles across the finance departments of Akcea Therapeutics and Dimension Therapeutics. He began his career in the audit practice of the accounting firm PwC, LLP, where he specialized in emerging life science, and medical devices.
Francisco is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
